Things to do near Gyeongbokgung: a Korean beauty & hanbok half-day

Morning: personal color
Start at SESE COLOR in Seochon with a one-on-one personal color analysis in English. Learn your best colors for clothes, lips and foundation.
Skin check
The Signature adds a skin measurement and a skincare routine for your skin type, so you know what to shop for in Olive Young.
Afternoon: hanbok & palace
Change into a hanbok in your colors, get your hair styled, and walk about 800m to Gyeongbokgung. Hanbok wearers enter the palace for free.
Evening: Seochon
Return the hanbok by 18:30, then explore Seochon's cafes and small shops, or walk up to Tongin Market.
Tips
- Gyeongbokgung is closed on Tuesdays. Pick another day for your hanbok, or visit Deoksugung or Changdeokgung.
- SESE COLOR is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00–19:00. Book ahead, especially on Saturdays.
- Come with little or no makeup for the most accurate color results.
- Coming as a couple or with a friend? Duo sessions cost less per person.
